Fraiha Productions was founded in 1995 by Silvia Fraiha. Since then, the company has produced 10 feature films, including the blockbuster franchise “Vai que dá certo 1”, that brought over 4 million people to the movie theaters, and the projects “Veronica” and “Before I Forget” that were awarded nationally and internationally . Besides several developing projects, Silvia Fraiha is currently producing an animation multi platform project (feature project, app, series and games) called “Abah and his band”, where she is co writer, songwriter and producer.

Humberto Avelar
Animation filmmaker Humberto Avelar has made more than 150 animated films for cinema and TV, including short films, series and campaigns. At the production company, Multirio, in addition to directing the live action programs, he also directed the films of the series “Juro que vi”, “Cantigas de roda” and “Que medo”, which have been awarded at film festivals in Brazil and abroad, with emphasis on the Japan Prize, Prix Jeunesse Iberoamericano and the festivals in Recife, Maranhão, Bahia, AnimaMundi, Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro.
Working with Mixer and TV Globo, he was director of the three seasons of the animated series “Sítio do Picapau Amarelo”, broadcasted by Cartoon Network Brazil and Latin America, Tooncast, Boomerang and Globo channels. He is the director of the series “Mundo Ripilica, the adventures of Babs, the koala”, shown by the Discovery Kids channel and co-director of the series “Diário de Pilar” for the Nat Geo Kids channel. He has worked as a professor of comics and animation at UFRJ and received a special mention from UNICEF for the series “Juro que vi”. He is currently divided between directing the feature film “Abá e sua banda” by Fraiha Produções and developing projects for his production company, Ópera Cartoon.

Andre Mehmari
Pianist, arranger and composer, André is considered by the critic “a singular artist with vibrant and generous imagination”. An awarded composer, both in classical and popular music, Mehmari had his compositions and arrangements played by many orchestras and chamber musicians, such as OSESP, OSB, Filarmônica de Minas Gerais, Miami Symphony, Orchestre de Normandie, Quarteto da Cidade de São Paulo, and Quinteto Villa-Lobos. In addition to a vast and awarded discography, Mehmari has an active international career as a soloist.
In partnership with Humberto Avelar, André created the soundtrack for the series “Sitio do Picapau Amarelo” and “Diário de Pilar”, and now “Abá and his band”. His recent works include tracks with the cellist Antônio Meneses and the soundtrack for the first Brazilian series produced for Netflix.

Marcelo Nicácio
Marcelo Nicácio, known as Gord, has a degree in Graphic Design and has been working in the audiovisual market since 1997, having participated in several projects including commercials, soap operas, films and series, including 2 awarded with the Emmy – “O Astro” (2012) and “Órfãos da Terra” (2020).
With experience in Digital Composition and VFX Supervision, he considers the project innovative and challenging for him: “What caught my attention when I was introduced to the project was the use of a hybrid technique of 3D and Illustration, which generated an amazing visual result! The script is not only funny but dynamic and the theme is important and necessary.”

Leo Rezende
A 3D artist, he works with several Brazilian and international studios, such as: Pedro Conti’s studio (Flooul – Animation), Zombie Studio, Voracious Games, Vetor Zero, Big Studios. He was responsible for the Character Modeling in the new Warner’s live-action “Tom & Jerry”.
Art Director
André Leão
André Leão and Humberto Avelar’s partnership started at Multirio, where they both worked in the animation department. André was the art director of the series “Juro que ví”, awarded nationally and internationally. As a visual artist and cartoonist, André won the best prize at the João Pessoa Humor Exhibition (PB), the Arapongas Humor Exhibition (PR) and the Piauí Humor Exhibition (PI). In advertising, he participated in important campaigns in Brazil (Volkswagen/Unibanco/Trakinas), Mexico (Herdez), Portugal (Supermercados Continente) and London (McDonald’s).
He worked for Globo TV on the scenes of the daily program “Show da Xuxa” and on “TV Pirata”. André is currently the art director of the feature film “Abá e sua banda”, being responsible for the concept of the main scenarios and for the quality and continuity of the colors, textures and the entire 2D language of the film.

Milton Guedes is a singer, composer and one of the most renowned Brazilian musician. He has already partnered with most of the stars of our brazilian music, such as Lulu Santos, Roberto Carlos, Sandy & Junior, Rita Lee, Oswaldo Montenegro, Fabio Junior, Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, with his instruments (Saxophone, Gaita and Flute) on tracks , CD’s, DVD’s and shows.

Veruschka Bauerle
Post-Production Supervisor with 30 years of experience, post-graduated in Film & Television Business from ESPM RJ and graduated in Radio & TV from Faculdade da Cidade. She began her career in 1992, dividing herself between assistant director and post production for commercials. After 8 years in advertising, he went to coordinate the entertainment department at Conspiração Filmes, where he stayed for 7 years. Since then, she has worked as a freelancer as Post-Production Supervisor and Executive Production in feature films and TV projects.

Alexandre Carvalho
Graduated and with a Master degree in Cinema from the University of São Paulo, he directed four feature films – the fictions “Do lado de fora” and “Fluidos” and the documentaries “Virando Bicho” and “Who cares about ignorance?”, and was director of production of blockbuster franchises “Vai que da certo”, “Before I Forget” and “The Spectacular”. In addition, Alexandre directs and produces short films, clips and internet programs.

Mariana Elisabetsky
Mariana Elisabetsky has a career of more than twenty-five years that involves activities as an actress, singer, TV presenter, announcer, voice actress, screenwriter and versionist/translator of musical theater, TV series and cinema. He was responsible for the Brazilian version of the musicals “Charlie Brown”, “School of Rock”, “Billy Elliot”, “Singing in the rain”, “Wicked”, among others. Since 2016 he has been a versionist for Disney in Brazil, having worked on films such as “Encanto”, “Soul”, “Frozen 2”, “Moana”, “Wanda and Visão” (Marvel). For Netflix, he adapted songs from films such as “Over the Moon”, “Vivo” and “Jingle Jangle”. She was the creator and scriptwriter of the children’s series “Rádio Zoo”, currently on the air on Globo Play, in addition to working as a scriptwriter for the series “Mais Cultura”, “Quintal da Cultura”, “Bubu e as Corujinhas”, “Cultura, O Musical ”, “Talents”, “Great Little Chefs”, among others.

Pedro Conti
Born and raised in São Paulo, Pedro has held various roles throughout his nine-year career, including positions at several Brazilian studios.
He was also a partner at TechnoImage and has worked as a freelancer with several big clients on feature films in recent years. He’s had the opportunity to co-direct many impressive projects, and most recently completed a role at Walt Disney Animation Studios on Moana.
He is currently working as a freelance 3D Artist and Supervisor, and is also an international speaker at various events around the world.
